Grace and Peace to you and yours!
It’s hard to believe we are at the end of the first month of 2022! In some ways, this month seemed to drag on, and in other ways, it flew by! Has anyone else ever experienced that? It seems when we are waiting on the Lord for a breakthrough, it moves like molasses. For example, this month my grandson turned 4 months old in the hospital because of a bad stomach infection. They never could accurately diagnose it, but it was a very long 11 days. My husband and I took his 3-year-old brother while mom and dad took turns caring for the baby (who needed 24-hour vigilant care in the hospital). During that same time, I was scheduled to have a knee/SI joint procedure and had to push that back a week (fortunately, my doctor had an opening and could accommodate the change).
The baby got better and went home, praise God! Everyone got settled and then I had my procedure. The first few days afterward were rough (my husband took great care of me), but I am doing well and start physical therapy this week. I’m looking forward to being mobile again!
If you don’t know, I have been doing a Zoom Bible study on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Standard time and start a new series called, “The Kingdom of Heaven Is Like…” this week (February 3). If you are interested in joining us, please let me know. This year we have a keyword from the Lord and it is “LISTEN”. We can hear something but not really listen, so we want to dig deeper into that!
If you gave to this ministry in 2021, thank you so much! I emailed all receipts last week, so if you donated and did not get your receipt, please let me know.
It is my hope that you have a very blessed 2022. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear. He has given us His love – through His Son, Christ Jesus. He has given His power – the power that not only created the universe and everything in it, but the power that raised Jesus from the dead! That power is working in and through us by the Holy Spirit. And God has also given us a sound and well-balanced mind – the mind of Christ. That is a lot to be thankful for and gives us reason to walk confidently. Glory! May Jesus find us IN HIM and doing what He has asked us to do when He returns. Amen!
In the Father’s love,
